"For the Limited Carmenere, winemaker Germán Lyon selects vineyards planted between 1994 and 2009 on alluvial soils, mainly from the vineyard in the Huelquén zone in Alto Maipo. This is a wine that's both herbal and fruity in similar proportions, the body is light, with very soft tannins, accompanied by acidity that seems to cut through the sweetness of the flavors to provide a lively freshness. This carmenere would go well with baked beef empanadas."
