Domaine Jamet Condrieu 'Vernillon' wordt gemaakt van Viognier. Loïc Jamet maakt deze Condrieu sinds 2015 en wordt daarin bijgestaan door zijn ouders. De druiven groeien op de mooie, verzorgde percelen in Vernon en Côte Chatillon.

Na de handmatige pluk, de persing en de vergisting verblijft de wijn in amphora achtige vaten. Dit zorgt voor nog meer finesse en minerale invloeden.

Proefnotitie

De Domaine Jamet Condrieu 'Vernillon' heeft verleidelijke geuren van rijpe perzik, citrusfruit, gele appel en zowel bloemige als minerale nuances. In de mond vol en rijp met genoeg frisheid en een perfecte balans.

"Now 100% matured in terracotta amphora, which brings 'a saline, mineral side' to the wines, says Loïc Jamet, especially in hot years. Straightness of character from the Côte Chatillon; generosity from the Vernon. Very peachy this year. Very rounded and ripe, but has good depth of fruit. Good acidity for the vintage, gently warming alcohol. Good sense of energy and brightness."
