"Mainly barrel-fermented Roussanne from sandy soils, the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvee Barberini offers an interesting contrast between its ripe, toasted-grain aromas and lean, crisp, citrusy palate. It's medium to full-bodied, tightly coiled and marked by lime and pineapple on the lengthy finish. I suspect it may drink well for up to a decade. Tasted twice, with consistent notes."
